Approximately 5 miles or 20 minutes by boat from Punta Gorda Town, the expansive Moho River empties into the majestic Caribbean Sea. This area is also replete with wildlife such as armadillo, deer, gibnut, howler monkey, jack rabbit, and peccary. Birds include but are not limited to curassow, duck, owl, parrot, pelican, sea gull, and toucan. The mangrove portion of the property is great for eco-tourism and has a variety of fish and other aquatic and marine life, for instance, black-snapper, jew fish, snook, shrimp, tarpon, and turtle. This property, which consists of a total of 17.74 acres, would make a great tourist resort for beach lovers or scuba divers. It would also be ideal for a hunting lodge or a fishing lodge. Additionally, the Moho River makes for excellent scenic tours of the rainforest. There is a wooden shack with thatched roofing, measuring 24 feet by 12 feet with a 7 feet wide veranda, and is elevated on wooden posts, for the caretaker.
